EG auto to manual conversion! need help!
first i want to know how hard it is to do by myself! and if its even possible! and if not i need to know exactly what i need to buy to do the conversion!...does anyone know a decent price or reasonable one so if i take it to get done i dont get ripped off! help asap!
You might as well save up to do a motor swap.. Thats my opinion. But if you want to change it to manual you'll have to get a manual tranny and the complete shift linkage kit. I happen to have them both if your interested?? I'll hook ya up!
i started out in the same boat as u, I wasn't too experienced with removing the transmission or that sort of work. Before I did my swap i researched as many things as I could with the swap including looking into the fsm and reading how to remove a tranny, clutch, etc. It's actually quite easy to do, just takes time.
If you do it yourself it could cost you around $600-$800 depending on what parts you get. For me it was about $600. Shops probably will charge u $1k for labor, at least shops around here does.

i can do the work! i know how! i just never done a conversion i wanted to know what it is i need for a complete conversion!.....
Theres alot of write ups out there, including one that i did that has alot of pictures so you could know what your looking at. Just get all your parts and your conversion mount from either Hasport or Password and your set.
