Whats up everybody this may sound dumb but i just changed my oil (b18) put on a new filter and all that..i go to start my car and...NOTHING..no lights, no turn, no clicks...nothing. So i have a jump box thinking its my battery, NOTHING...now when i removed the oil fiter oil did leak in some places, my question what is below that could cause my car not to start, everything ran fine until now...i guess oil got into somewhere it shouldnt have? could i have shorted something somwhere?? i know the possibilities are probably endless as to why it wont start, but im confused...this has never happend before...any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
That's really fucked up. Did you check your battery to make sure nothing became loose? There's nothing under the filter that will keep the car from starting if it becomes soaked with oil, so that's not the problem.

All the fuses look fine, i looked over those as well...this may be a dumb question, im new to hondas, but do they have a kill switch anywhere i might of hit?
I've never heard of a killswitch..
But word check and make sure your battery cables are on tight. Just to be sure take them all the way off and put the back on securely. That's the only thing I can think of.

Try jumping the battery and seeing if, by chance, you somehow totally fried a battery completely? By this I mean just jump the cables, and turn something electrical on, don't try starting it.

It's a ground some place...only a battery ground can cause the problems ur having (absolutely no power what-so-ever, even on a boosted battery) - definately a ground...not even the main relay would caust this b/c you'd at leas thave headlights for a bit if ur main relay was bad...check all ur battery grounds (one coms off the + terminal I believe)...it's definately one of them...
Oil in the alternator probably wouldn't do it..but that's not the reason, even if u *** fucked your alternator you'd be able to crank it over and run for a few minuts b4 the battery drained and died...

if nothing is coming on, you aren't getting power...period. so it's at the battery. check your terminals...again obviously. jiggle them...take them off and re-position them and tighten them down again. mine stay tight, but they're kinda fucked up and don't make a great connection sometimes.
there is nothing you could've leaked oil onto to short anything out. the only thing electrical around the filter is the oil pressure switch (only makes your light pop on when you don't have pressure)

Thats good to know
so i went back after an hour or two and re-checked all my fuses..all of you were right my ''battery'' fuse under the hood was blown(80A). I didnt see it the first, or second time. Guess i just needed to count to ten, that or new glasses. But none the less not a bad thing, all my grounds and connects are fine! thanks again for all the replies.
