I need a new header for my H22....any recomendations? Would prefer a CARB legal model since i'm in cali

 

The RMF header is amazing, but it's not CARB legal. If you need something CARB legal, you're stuck using either Greddy or DC

Get a Hytech/DTR/SMSP and weld the stock heatshield back on top.

 

mugen is carb legal.

Anyway, there is really no "best" header. You need to tell us what mods you have before we can recommend anything. Slapping on an expensive header is not the best way to spend your money. If you don't plan to do any internal mods, getting the headers these ricers recommended isn't cost-effective.

I have yet to see anyone show me a $1000 part that can take a mostly stock h22 to over 200whp. Nevermind the ease of installation of a header, a couple of flange bolts and some exhaust piping.....

i have a RMF drag header that randy made for me. that thing works wonders.....
