Take off the head
Talk out the crankshalf
Knock ever piston out from the bottom of the engine
Gap and install the rings
Reverse process.

Oh and all this is done a lot easier with the engine out of the car. Unless you have some hand tools, a helms, and possibly air tools, take the car to a shop.

Having free money isn't magic neither, which is why I'm asking for help.

If you have the pistons out already then what you want to do is put the rings about .250'' down the cylinder straight (push it down with an upside down piston) then check your gap. If its not where you want it get your ring filer and file the ring down slowly and recheck it. When its where you want it install the first ring with your ring expander and put it on. When you get all the rings on and in the order you want it use your ring compressor and lube it up and put it on the piston, put some hoses on the rod studs so you dont damage the crank going in. Put the piston going down the right way and bolt it down to spec. Have fun
