i was wondering if there is an easy way to change pison rings, or if there is a trick, would it be easier to change the whole piston? thanks.

It wouldn't be easier to change the whole piston because you have to take the OEM piston out of the block to get to the rings anyway...and most aftermarket pistons don't come with the rings pre-gapped and installed. There is a special tool for installing piston rings, I'd google it and find out where you can buy or rent one near you.
