white and red where MSD where do the connect to? help please

white and red where MSD where do the connect to? help please
well of course you know i have been doing my h22 swap am trying to get this msd external coil thing going right i have all the wires hooked up besides 2 the white wire on the box its says
White Wire-This wire is used to connect to the points, electronic ignition amplifier output or to the yellow wire of the MSD timing accessory(i do not have or need)
WHEN THIS WIRE IS USED, THE MAGNECTIC PICKUP CONNECTOR IS NOT USED.
and the
RED Wire-says to 12 volts switch. Such as the ignition key switch. (which is Where)
if anybody has an msd set up can you tell me how and were you have the wires set up please.
