Alas, more twin disk problems.....
Update: I replaced my Master and modified a TOB and it works!! Gets a little grabby once it warms up, but it WORKS!!! Thanks for the help all!!
After the things heats up (driving for a half hour or so), the engagement becomes unbearable. it seems that after the clutch gets warmed up, you cant slip it.... at all. even to start, you have to run it up to about 4k and let the clutch out slowly and all off the sudden, BAM! it engages, no warning signs or anything, either the car stalls or peels out. i let it cool down overnight, figuring its an adjustment in the pedal or something and now its fine as its sits in my garage after it has cooled down.
im really afraid to drive my car and get stuck in traffic or something.
I bought this used, could it be a bad pp or disks?
thanks

not really common... and ceramic or metallic is a better move than the carbon... because the carbon CAN be temperamental in a street app.. (not always, but can be)
you may need to replace the disc and have the flywheel resurfaced..
but it could be something all together different... like a damaged bearing or PP or something... (I doubt it tho)

the flywheel was resurfaced and i ghetto resurfaced the pp and middle plate with sandpaper (its worked before on other clutches
)
the clutches were a little beat up, but still had tons of meat

yea i have adjusted the pedal a bunch. i didnt grind the plastic off my tob and it went last night on my way to woodward ave
oh well, im just taking it off and getting my buddies 6-puck.
this clutch would be freaking awesome if i had the right tob, but im not gonna be making "twin-disk"ish power for a while, so when i do, ill just got carbon-carbon
if anybody wants a tilton twin disk with tilton 6-lb flywheel or would want to trade it for built bottom end parts for an ls, let me know.
thanks for all you help guys
