Default brakes 94 civic

I went to change my front brakes pads on my 94 lx with a b16 swap. I bled the brake lines and and changed the pads but it still does not seem to stop correctly. I don't know what could be the problem if any one can help me out I would appreciate it!

Did you check to make sure the rear brakes a working? If they are not it will feel like the fronts aren't doing there job. Also it take a some time to bed the pads into the rotors esp if you did not change or have the rotor turned. Check the rears and if they are working. Do several 30mph to 10 mph med hard brake. Park the car for a while let things cool and repeat. then do several hard brakes form 40mph to a dead stop giving the brake a little time to cool between each time. Do these steps after you have put about 100 easy miles on the brakes.
