Default Aftermarket steering wheel

Hello all,
I am new to this site and am wondering if some of you could answer a question for me. Is there a way to make the SRS system functional with an aftermarket steering wheel with no air bag? Since the air bag is removed the SRS light on the dash lights up. In the Haynes Manual it say that if the light is on that the rest of the system may not work properly. Is there a way to eleviate the problem with the rest of the system. The vehicle is a 94 LS.

Thanks,
Brandon

Here is some info I found so far. I will try the 2ohm resistor and resetting the SRS system. I will post my results

Hello everyone. I would like to say that I was successful with the 2 ohm resistor. I used a 10watt but could have gotten away with less. It never hurts to be a little cautious.
