Default I want to change my steering wheel and keep the pass. Airbag functional...Possible?

Is there anything I can do like faking out the SRS system with a resistor.

you could try, but it is highly unlikley. The SRS systems are very sensitive, the smallest thing causes the light to come on and no SRS operation

one of my friends had his steering wheel replaced w/ some aftermarket one...
no lights came on after intalled... i don't know how but he did it successfully...
and yeah... i should ask him how...
