Default Fluctuating Idle

I have recently put a b18c6 in my can and am experiencing some Idle problems.

First of all the Idle fluctuates between 1000 and 1500rpm.

The second is that when it warms up from cold it never seems to go above 1100rpm when warming up.

I took the connector off the IAC. I did not notice the revs drop but I did notice the revcs increased when i reconnected the connector.

I have cleaned the IAC with carb cleaner, and its internals went from black to the nice fresh white colour.

I have drained all coolant aswell and blead the coolent again and also resent the ECU

I have checked all hoses etc

I also adjusted the Idle through the screw on the throttle body turned the screw all the way away from the firewall until it could turn no further. The revs dropped to 900rpm when idleing when the engine has warmed up.

The idle has improved slightly when it does fluctuate when i pull up at the lights from 900 to 1200 rpm and the settles to 900rpm after it automatically revs twice but its still not right.

It should be nicely Idleing at 750rpm.

I dont have a clue what else I could do to sor this small problem out?

Does anyone have any Ideas?

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks

Chris

Your IACV could still be bad even though you cleaned it.

If the engine idle fluctuates when the engine is cold and continues to fluctuate even when it is warm it could be the FIT valve on the bottom of the throttle body.

You can also check your PCV valve to make sure it is still good.

Hopes this helps and good luck.
