knock sensor CEL is on, replace ecu replace knock sensor and the CEL is still lighted up!!!!!!!!!!!!

knock sensor CEL is on, replace ecu replace knock sensor and the CEL is still lighted up!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a code 23 meaning knock sensor, I though it was the sensor gone bad so I replaced it still lights up. So I go a buy another p72 ecu and still the code lights up. I test it with a tester and it seems to be in the right slot D3. Please any info any help would be great! BUmp if you see this, I need this problem slove cuz for sure state ref. well not pass me with the CEL on. Court date is a week away. Also do you thing retard my timeing well help stop the knock if theres to much knock cuzing the CEL to go on also? Thanks guys.
