new valves
i just got new vavles put in and the car doesnt drive like it used to. when i step on the gas it doesnt go, it seems slower. do i need to get a valve adjustment done? and also i was told i needed a knock sensor, is it important to get one right away or can it wait a week or two? thanks
ya you will prolly need a valve adjustment, the guys that change them usually do one but most the time you have to adj them a couple of times to get it right
sometimes, when you change out valves, you lose a little compression. carbon builds up on your old valves/pistons and creates a little bit of higher compression(less squish area, more compression). you'll probably feeling a little bit loss of compression or maybe the machine shop didn't cut the seats correctly. could be a ton of things.

if you need a knock sensor do u mean your is broke. if so that could be why your ecu may have retarted the timing
