Default Stiff motor mounts.

i have an eg coupe with a gsr motor, i want stiffer mounts, vibration isnt much of a worry but i want something as stiff as the vortech stage 4s for VWs, i found the innovations motors mounts and some others but none of them tell much about the stiffness, a little expertise would be appreciated

Stuff a set of Energy Suspension motor mount inserts in there, that should be plenty stiff.

My suggestion, energy suspension inserts or hasport mounts. Hasport sells solid mounts so you'll only have to run the 3 main mounts and you'll feel the vibration 3 cars back.

The ES inserts stiffened mine up a lot when I installed all 3 of them, and even the Hasport 62A (street) durometer mounts were very stiff. I just got a set of Hasport 88A (extreme race) durometer mounts for my EG and I expect them to be brutal.

welcome to the club! depends on how bad you need them. you can always to it the poor way, and order them one at a time then when you have them all, install them.

If you're looking for a good, inexpensive option, the Energy Suspension inserts are your best bet.

I heard the Innovative mounts are very good, and I know the Avid mounts are crap. I use Hasports because they are perfect, and No Limit Motorsports has the best prices I've seen by far:

Make sure you tell then you are an H-T member and they will give you a pretty big discount, without that their prices are not that special.

Just use some windshield 3M Polyurethane inside your stock mounts. It stiffens up almost as much as the ES ones. One can will do all 3 mounts and it only costs $8.00. Best bang for the buck.
