Read your spark plugs and make sure they are burning stoich. If there is no sign of misfire, I would just try resetting the ECU and see if it comes on again.

spark plugs are good, wires are good, pretty sure the dizzy is good, i dont know how to reset the ecu unless thats what i tried by unhooking the ground for 45 minutes (heard that from soemone)

you can unplug the battery to reset the ecu. I had this problem in my d16y8 when I put a cam in also. I replaced everything I could from plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor and I still had the light. It didnt feel differant but the code said it was there and I could hear the popping noise. Well I ended up taking the cam out to sell the car but I never fixed it. What cam are you using?

it should be labeled "back up" in the underhood fuse box......after reseting the ecu,if the cel light still comes on with the same code then try doing a valve adjustment might help.

i am using crower stage 2, with the crower valve spring and retainer kit. i dont plan on selling anytime soon so i would like to fix it. hopefully the valve adjustment will work, or i might just slam my hand under the hood a few times. lol
with a stage 2 cam and OBD2, most likely you will have continuous misfire codes because of the lobes and how it idles.
Go OBD 1 and get it tuned. Make sure alves are adjusted correctly also

OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness and a P28 ecu, then tune it.
My buddy has a 2000 Integra LS with stage 2 cams and SAFC...it's all tuned and makes rediculous torque for the setup, but constantly throws misfire codes- which can be annoying to see a CEL on non stop. Only way to fix this is to go OBD1

i will probably switch to obd1 if the valve adjustment doesnt work, also never thought about it but could extending the o2 sensor wires so it could fit on lx header make this CEL?
i was told you need a adj cam gear when you get a cam because after market cams are a little bigger or something he said but you need a adj cam gear to dial in the correct timming o and also a prob could be spark plugs are gapped to close or to far i am miss firing 2 but mine is in 2,3,and 4 because i have them gapped 2 close
