help on deciding rebuild d16y7 or swap an ls ?????

Default help on deciding rebuild d16y7 or swap an ls ?????

i have a 97 dx coupe i spun a bearing. idk if i should rebuild the motor for nitrious and do a mini me swap or swap an ls and put a lil 50 shot ????????

i was in the same situation as you. bent a valve and was faced with a question of swapping an ls or buy another d series. for me i just went with a d series kuz it was cheap i was tight on cash and didnt want to deal with the hassle of emissions in socal

like would it be cheaper to rebuild my y7 do a mini me swap and put nitrious or the ls swap?????

The LS just makes more sence to put in. First of all you dont have to waste time and money builing it.. its already there, all you have to do is swap it in. Then once its in just save up enough for a vtec head and turn it into an lsvtec.
