Hi I recently had troubble with my climate controls.. the temperature **** stopped spinning freely... so I bought a new unit.. when I go to install it I take that little clip and screw that connects to the cable and attach it but the same thing happens.. its wont spin freely.. any ideas how to hook the cable to the controls so it spins freely?

 

you are talking about the cable that goes from the control to the air mix unit?
Did you try to turn the control **** with the cable end unhooked? The gears behind the temp **** might be jammed or the heater **** itself might be broken.
You need to determine which end of the system is causing problems; that can be accomplished by unhooking the cable end under the air mix unit.
