Default Rear mounted battery - Alternator noise - Amplifiers

Has anyone experiencing electrical noise problems after moving their battery to the rear?

Any tips? grounding points, etc.?

im no audio guru, but did you separate the audio and power wire paths? my experience is that you cant run power lines next to audio wires. it probably has to do with electrical inductance. signals bleed into each other.

I'm having the same problem as well after moving the battery to the rear of my GLC after installing a subwoofer.

yes, probably the best idea is to run your signal cable on the driver side, and the power cable on the passenger side. Good idea to NOT have the signal wire and power wire on the same side, to avoid electrical noise.

Just have a good, bare metal connection for your ground. Make sure it makes good contact and is tight.
