ok on the DX harness theres this connector with a orange wire and a black wire with a yellow stripe. i remember your suppose to cut both of the and tape one of them off as a "hot ignition" wire and where does the other wire go? THANK YOU
Straight from a civic shop manual:
The tandem valve is employed to improve atomization of fuel which is injected by the main fuel injector in response to various operating conditions.
When the tandem valve control solenoid valve is activated, venturi vacuum is applied on the tandem valve control diaphragm and the tandem valve is opened in response to the venturi vacuum which represents the air flow rate through the venturi. Therefore good atomization of the injected fuel is provided regardless of air flow rate.
So basically it increases fuel economy, sacrificing some airflow. Fortunately it doesnt exist on an MPFI intake, so just do what droppedcrxsi said and cut it off. However, if your intake has an FICV, you can use those wires to power it, save yourself a little bit of wiring.
Good luck
