i have a 1997 civic i swaped it to obd1 for my b16 but i don't know what to do with the IAC valve wires the plug on the car is a 3 wire plug and the IAC valve on the b16 is a 2 wire . so dont know what to do . i think i need a diagram of the wiring, or is there a conversion chart for this swap that you guys might have.

any help would be much appreciated.

get an obd1 iac valve

 

If your running a p28 use the 2 wire plug and out of the 3 wire from your harness use the yellow\blk and whatever wire goes back to connector A pin 9. If none of the 2 wires go to A9 then route a wire or switch the pins at the connector.


Cliffs:
run the 2 pin iacv.
Out of the 3 wires on your harness keep the yellow\blk and whatever wire that goes to A9.
