well i got no power going to my HU or the amp at all, took out the amp put into another car and it works fine, did the same for the HU and it worked fine. I checked all the fuses and replaced them all just in case and still no power. i was driving down the road and everything just went off, i didn't hit a bump or anything it just went out. need help.... losing my damn brain over this. HU is a JVC.

 

The amp wont power up unless the HU turns it on via the remote wire.

Did you check the engine compartment fuses, the under dash fuses, or both?

You may have to run your own power and accessory wires from the ignition harness or the fuse box. Use inline fuse holders.

 

i checked both the engine compartment and under dash fuse boxes and have replaced the fuses dealing with the radio.

 

But I bet you didn't know which fuses have to do with the radio. How's your 7.5A ECU fuse? This is a shared radio fuse. How are you checking your fuses? Testing for continuity with a voltmeter, right?
