Default Twin disk wont disengage......

Hi, i just installed a tilton twin disk and 6lb flywheel and it doesnt want to disengage or engage. Like i cant push it in far enough. I have a new master and slave cylinder and adjusted the pedal the whole way out. I used the pilot bearing that came with it (stock b-series) and a stock throwout bearing. I was told this was ok to do this by the person who sold it to me and said he was using it the same way and never had any problems.
any ideas, this really sucks

could i have put the disks in wrong?? i did notice there was a small gap in between the crank and flywheel. is this my problem??

would a longer bolt on the master help?? is there a such thing as a longer push rod for the slave???

It might be installed wrong. Or the flywheel you have could be causing it. The bolts maybe bottoming out. We had engagement problems and come to find out it was the flywheel. But you said that the clutch worked on another car. So im going to say its an installation error.

I had the same problem with my tilton/ tilton tob and master cylinder and it just wound up being that there was not enough throw in the pedal so I backed the nut off some more (behind the pedal) and also re-bled the system and it was more than enough, I think it was more the air in the systme than anything though, btw second time around I used a vacuum bleader rather than a friend to pump the pedal while I release the pressure which took forever on a completely empty system.

the flywheel is a tilton one, so i am assuming it will work. i looked and double checked over, i dont think i could have put the clutches in wrong. i put them in the same way i got them in the box, but im pretty sure they are right. i have honestly put the pedal out as far as it will go, its probably holding on by 2 threads.
ill try bleeding it tomorrow. hell it cant hurt

thanks for the help!
