Anyone Else having problems dis-engaging on the TWIN EXedy Disc???
Ok i installed my exedy twin disc and flywheel. I did everything to spec (lining up the holes, torquing it down, matching up the plates to the flywheel etc).
We got everything in, after bleeding it to death and adjusting the push rod on the master cylinder, it still wouldnt dis-engage...so we determine it was an old master cylinder and not giving enuff pressure plus it was leaking grease out of it. So we replaced it!
Now it will dis-engage but u have to put effort into it to shift, we also fooled around on the push rod and still it wouldnt dis-engage very smoothly. We took it for a test ride, and once u get the rpms up it will shift smoothly...
Am i doing sumthing wrong here? The tranny also had a new quaife lsd installed (dunno if it matters).
I also put a brand new stock throwout bearing into it too...I tryed calling exedy today..but they were closed...Also i can hear a chatter but its very soft...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!
Oh and this is on a 1994 gsr integra/b18c1 motor

I know this is gonna sound strange but maybe its something simple?
I once had a flywheel bolt back out and it would not let me push the clutch in all the way and shift gears. It was wierd cause it would only happen sometimes, like when the clutch got warmed up.
It took me like 5 times of taking off the tranny to figure out thats all it was.

dam i feel ya...im almost on my 3rd time...but yeh the fly wheel is torqued down and locktite..so i dont see how the bolts can come loose...but i will double check if i take the tranny off again...something even more simpler that requires not taking the tranny off? haha

it is often said when you replace the master, replace the slave cyl as well cause when one is bad, it puts excessive stress on the other and the seals go.
