Is the RMF Header an anti-reversion style?

If not are there any manufactured for the h series

gawwwwd damn!! I've been dong some research and anti-reversion seems to be where it's at..

wonder why no-one has done it.. perhaps it's the aftermarket demand is getting smaller?

yes, smsp and prospeed, also an-r i believe use anti-reversion pockets and i think smsp has done something with D-shaped primaries to accomplish similiar results

would you care to explain exactly what anti-reversion is?

name kinda explains it all. Anti - against, Reversion - reversal

these chambers prevent "air" from traveling back into the combustion chamber after exiting through the exhaust ports, essentially keeping the combustion from getting contaminated with molecules that have already been burned.

headers are tuned by length and diameter...

longer and skinnier primaries help the low end by creating a faster vaccum earlier on.. but lose power in the top end because of constricted flow at higher velocities.

Shorter, wider primaries, well it's the opposite pretty much as above.

also flow between valve overlap caused by cams/timing can cause reversion, the exhaust gases flowing back.

"your goal is to keep the exhaust speed/energy high to maximize cylinder scavaging yet restriction low to reduce back pressure to the minimum and to control and direct reversion pulse energy to assist in that scavaging"

anti-reversion helps prevent reversion, duh, keeping your scavaging efficient

if my thoughts are wrong or confusing... since i'm tired... here

another thing to consider is collector design in regards to anti-reversion...

rmf 4-1 headers use a collector that creates and effective "vortex" in the collector due to the fact that the pipes come together so that they fire one after the other in a circular motion, creating a swirling motion which helps in pulling gases from the other pipes....
