how come your having the motor completely built to run only 8psi? why not get the high boost kit from jackson racing and then get the lht aftercooler
to build your block and then use a JRSC is a TOTAL waste of money....if you want to run a JRSC, then boost on stock....if you want to build the motor, then boost it and actually make some power....
turbo ftw!
turbo ftw!
if you plan on spending the big money, i'd suggest going with the endyn kit and having him mod the blower for higher psi. with a modded blower and pulleys for ~15 psi i imagine it would be an awesome setup. good luck
the thing is i live in california.. stupid smog crap. i want to make my motor as stock as possible. thats is why i dont really want to go with the BIG FAT TURBO. im planning to paint all the pipings including the intercooler black. also this is going to be my daily driver car.

WOW!!! I am glad I am not the only guy around overbuilding my engine for a JRSC setup. But...at least we both know our sh## won't break LOL. Let's just say that you might as well throw as much boost as you can at that baby. I can't give you much in the way of advice though.
Its not a bad idea to build your motor for a jrsc, especially if you're running high boost. Forged pistons can handle the heat, and detonation much better than stock cast ones. The most boost I ran was 15 psi w/ an Endyn modded blower, and it hauled ***!
Go with stock ITR cams for your setup, I've found they work best.

All you need is 220 whp in a EK, or EG w/ drag radials and your in the 12's. JRSC's are very capable of making well over 220 hp.

you should get rid the jackson and buy a procharger. I have a friend that has a procharger and I never seen a super charger work as good as they do for a 4 banger.
