squeeking noise
When i have my wheel turned to the right while driving. Their is a high pitched squeeking noise. Also there is a lot of "play" on the steering wheel when i hit bumps and potholes. Does this have anything to do with the power steering fluid?

First, check your power steering fluid. Then check the tightness of your power steering belt, it sounds like your belt is a little too loose. There are 3 bolts that hold your p/s pump on, loosen them then to tighten the actual belt there is a bolt on top of the p/s pump and you want to tighten that, thus creating more tension in the belt. As far as the play on the steering wheel, i really dont knwo what to say.
The squeaking seems like a loose belt to me too... but the "play" in the wheel doesn't follow with that or with low ps fluid.... If it were more of a "clicking" sound the first thing I would think in CV joints. Answer Chiovnidca's questions and things like what kind of modifications you have and mileage on the car and someone will have a better chance of giving you a good answer...
