wierd noise
when i turn the steering wheel i hear a loud whistling or whining sound dont know where its coming from tho doesnt sound like an axle maybe its the rack??? do you guys have an idea?

jack up the front, have someone turn the steering wheel slowly while you hold the road wheel, feel for the rack jerking, if it does, you need a rebuilt rack as the seals are blowing by inside or a valve is sticking, probably a seal as you can hear the weird noise.

I vote for power steering pump going out.
Just do this to rule out the power steering first...
loosen the tensioner(s) on your ps bracket and remove the belt. Now start the car and turn the wheels as you were before and see if the sound stops or continues. If it stops, your ps pump is going out, if it continues, your ps pump is good still and the issue is something else
