Default How much does it cost to turbo an LS engine

My goal is to have around 300 hp and it will also be my daily. I have 8,000 to play with. How much would it cost me to get the turbo set up? Or, lets say you had 8,000 to spend and you wanted to build the fastest car possible. What direction would you go assuming you could get buy any car and then hopefully have some left over to mod.

thats should be a good amount for a good all around kit. My turbo cast me around 7000 can. That included a greddy emanage injectors tunning and all the custom work. Do lots of research and make sure if u go with a in the box kit that its gonna have everything u want. And not all turbos are created equal. good luck

From the original post it sounds like 8k for the mod setup. Not for the car.

be diffrent, do a b20/vtec and supercharger it. nobody will see it coming, and a supercharger is very streetable. DONT forget to get internals. pistons, rings, rods, bearings etc... Plus, everybody loves to hear a supercharger pully whine when you mash the gas

No I have 8k total for a car and mods. I drive my first car which is a 98 Bonneville SE. I hopefully will buy an integra for about 4-5k. Or I would consider an EG or EF Civic. Either way, I want to be able to take down SRT-4's, stock LS1's, and most German cars.

Buy my DA, it's mint, the motor is fresh from the machine shop, everything running excellent. I actually started to get a kit together that i'm gonna sell too. Tial wastegate, percision intercooler, the piping, golden eagle vacuum manni, injectors. And I put a halfcore radiator in it for more room. Only reason i'm selling everything is cause I found a gorgeos vehicle that I always wanted.

I like yours DA-nTEG but you live to far. If you really want to sell it though I would buy if you ship for free.

How much power is it supposed to make? Or how much does it make? What about gas mileage?
