i ahve a 99 dc4 ls. planning on going wingless. did a little search and looked at 6/7 posts and did as advised but the wire connectors seem to be located further in the third brake light in the glass. i removed the trim panel only to find that out. do i just remove the whole trim or is a couple enough? i only removed the 3-4 on the left and 3-4 clips on th right. i saw the wire and i led into the third brake light in th window. how do i got about taking out the wire without cutting it? how do i getinto the third brake light?

 

Im really confuses but its just a copnnector that clips out and then about a 1 foot wire will be left from the spoiler..

 

ya just follow it and it has a disconnect

 

i followed the wire from the spoiler and it led into the third brake light in my window. i only undid about 6-8 clips on the trunk trim panel. do i need to undo all the clips to get tot he connector?

 

if you talking about wiring up your 3rd brake light because of the removal of the spoiler, then pull back all the clip on the hatch peice and remove the covering around the 3rd brake light and plug into the empty outlet....i just did this a few weeks ago.
