that is exactly what happened to my car when i swapped it. i didnt think was a blown fuse either until there was daylight, it was the ignition fuse in the box on the shock tower under the hood. its one of the big weird lookin ones, ill go snap a pic real quick.

its the big red one, hope this helps

I found it.. it turns out that the wire that tells the solinoid that you are turning the key has a ground on it somewhere. I took a wire and put it to where that plug goes and touched it on the battery post and poof.. it started. So I will ether run a new wire from the solinoid to the ignition ( replaced the ignition so thats not the problem ) or I will just run a wire to a push button and have a push button start.
I had the same problem, fixed it with a relay like this.
You will need a relay:
http://www.radioshack.com/prod...earch
or you can get a relay + socket for cheaper on ebay(socket makes cleaner install)
http://cgi.ebay.com/12-Volt-30...wItem
you will also need:
1.Wire, i used 12 gauge should be able to use smaller wire
2. Connectors: 4 female disconnects, the larger size from radioshack, only need 1 of these if you have a socket. 2 spade connectors, 1 to fit the battery post or a direct power sorce, the other will need to be big enough to fit a clean ground.
3. Tools, a wire crimper/stripper/cutter
Here is what I did.
1. Ran the signal wire to post 85 on the relay
2. Measured/cut wire to run a line from post 86 on relay to a clean ground on chasis.
3. Measured/cut wire to run a line from post 87 on relay to the starter connection, where signal wire originally was.
4. Measured/cut wire to run a line from the battery terminal to post 30 on the relay. Use a fuse here if youw anna be safe, I didn't .
Very easy job, I did it with no relay knowledge just researched and found out how myself.
