I have a 90 CRX SI and yesterday when driving it home it cut off on me. Right before it died the tachometer needle was jumping sporadically. Now when i try and start it, it starts up and cuts off immediately. I've checked all the fuses, sensors, and can't figure out what the problem could be

 

Most likely culprit = Igniter

 

yes check dist first the igniter might be it or alternator
