alternator question

Default alternator question

so i need to replace my alternator and i really dont want to take the axle out to change so i was wondering if any one has taken out the brake booster to take the alternator out? also the car is a stock crx si thanks

Just jack up the drivers side front and it will fall out the bottom.
You might have to remove the bottom Alt.bracket too.

I never had to take off either, I just turned the wheel or something and was able to sneak it out past the axles, it comes out 1 certain way but it works, just mess around with it, i don't think i even had to take the lower brackt off...

I just had to move the plastic piece out of the way in the wheel well.

same, axle does'nt need to come out

have fun with that.. i decided to take out my intake manifold which just made more problems, but shrug

With my LS swap i can pull it up out the top and only have to remove the up alt braket

I had to take my brake booster out. I just replaced mine yesterday.
