Default install alternator

i try to istall that alternator but i can't get it out from the car some people tell me the i need to take out the axle but i try to know diferrent way please help me

what do you mean? u can't get the bolts out or can't find a way to slide it out of the car? usually pull it out from the top of the car.

i ready loose everything is ready to take out but that only way i see it is to take out the left axle do u know something diferrent

which is harder: proper spelling or changing an alternator?

yes ok i try to change my alternator from my car, i ready loose that bolt and everything but, i try to take it out from the car and i don't have space to get it out from the top and that bottom. do u know how to get it out to that car

Why do you think people are telling you to remove the axle, maybe because it makes it easier to remove the alternator

Get a manual and read it. it's pretty clear about how to take it out. It says to take it out from the bottom, and to remove the axle to do it..

can always remove the master cylinder and pull it up. beter than pulling a axel

I somehow remove the altenator by removing the downpipe and squeezing it through. However, removing the axel does make it a lot easier. Might as well change oil filter too at that point since that's right there and is easy to get to with the axel gone. Just a pain to remove the shafts (I've read some horror stories of people trying to pry out the shafts), but you don't have to mess with brakes like you're suggesting with the master cylinder

no you wouldent have to bleed them if you just un bolted it and pulled it to the side.

never done it in an integra but in a crx you just had to turn it the right way and pull it out of the bottom. maybe try turning the wheels all the way left or right to create a larger gap.

you dont need to remover the BMC. just remove the powersteering hose bracket from the valve cover and wiggle out. geez
