I have a 97 civic ek and i just recently put on the greddy turbo kit .
I have an FMU , FPR , stock injectors and stock spark plugs .
I Do not have any check engine lights that are on and my coolent level is normal with no over heating !

Smoke will come out of the exhaust when i back up and after i boost . I can drive the car normal and keep it under 3k and i have no smoke . Since it is the Greddy kit with an internal wastegate i was thinking that is what would be dumping the smoke . I am also running a stock exhaust with stock muffler .

If anyone can help me out that would be great . Thank you !

 

You're problem lies with the fact you have no EMS.

 

I always look at the turbo drain first . check that out, if it is a a terrible angle that may be your problem

 

I do have a Blue box , but have not installed it , Should i Do that ? I have a friend that has the same setup but he is not using a Fuel pressure regulator and he has never seen smoke!

And Also i did use the greddy oil return line kit , and it is at an angle because they have a shitty setup for the oil return ! , It is going down but its diagnal not straight down !

 

how much oil did you put in the car? i have a lil too much oil and my car smokes when it idles for a lil while then goes away. when i gas it no white smoke or when i drive only at idle. thats due to me putting in too much oil .
