how often do you guys change/check/clean your fuel filters?


i just did mine, about mid point in the season. pre pump filter had a little funk it it but not that bad, after pump filter was good.

freind of mine checked his and had crazy amounts of funk it in, and you couldnt even blow through the filter...it was like totally clogged. no idea how long that one has gone with out being checked.

after seing his..im going to start checking mine a lot more often!

 

I did mine at the end of last season and it had a lot of "funk" in there too. I havent check it recently.

back in the old days when I raced I used to check it about every 2-3 events. It was easy to get to and check so what the heck.

How did u guys check for "funk"? Did u guys cut open the filter and literally examined it? It looks like my fuel filter change is due soon as well. I'll probably open mine up and see if theres any funk in mine.
