Default b16a in a Mitsu Mirage????

just wondering, since my friend with a 2000 mitsubishi mirage DE doesn't know what kinda motor to drop in his slowass car, he was wondering if it was possible to drop a b16a civic SI motor in it??????

Possible yes....but why? Why not drop a 4g63 motor from a turbo eclipse or talon.

For the older Mirages........
A 4g63 8valve or 12 valve FWD motor from a Galant will work.
The old Mirage (Lancer) came with a 4g63 Turbo in some countries.

For the newer ones.....
Build it like the evolution lancer.

is that 4g63 a 2.0 and turbo???? and will it fit, cuz his puney *** car fits a freakn 1.5 liter engine right now.... what will he have to do??????????

Go with a 2 gen 4G63 it's the easiest swap. all the mounts will fit and there is no need to replace the cam angle or crank angle sensors not to mention the the EGR and Map sensor relocation needed when putting in a older first gen motor. If you're interested I know a guy who has one for sale.

a T3/T4 might make some torque but a Big 16 or a 18 is much more efficient with higher levels of boost and bar..
