What's a good CR and bore to run with a sleeved LS turbo?
Hi, I am considering getting my 98 LS B18B sleeved by Golden Manfacturing and I have the the option of 81mm - 85mm bore size. What is a good size. I believe that the stock B18B is 81 mm and a lot of aftermarket pistons are 81mm. And I know the compression ratio is decided by the piston dome, and I was considering keeping the stock CR of 9.2:1.
1.) Is the stock CR ok to run with 15-20 psi boost? If not what is good?
2.) Is the stock bore ok to run on this setup? If not what is good?
I am just looking for some input before I spend 1K on sleeving the block. Any input is greatly appreciated.......

Yea, I just talked to Golden Eagle, and with 15-20 psi they recommended a 84mm bore. The whole sleeve setup is $850 with just a rough bore, and hot tanked. It seems to be a common size for integras. Has anyone delt with Golden Eagle before and would you recommend them for the sleeving process. The prices seems competative.

Well now am am considering buying the Arias Pistons from GE and having them sleeve the block, and match the bore (84mm) to those pistons. I figure that is the best way to get a good piston/cylinder match. Has anybody ran Arias pistons with high boost? If so, are they reputable pistons? I would have to think so since GE sells them. Any advice?
