Default Should i buy?

A buddy of mine told me he would sell me his motor and tranny out of his 91 integra pretty sure just the run of the mill b16. Both for $200 i figure it would give me something to do to rebuild it because it has if i remember 190k on it. I dont think ill find one cheaper. By the way i have a 94 coupe with a D15B7 which well.. sucks

B7 ftl.

If you're planning on rebuilding it, why not? Does it run?

If its out of a '91 integra, then its probably obd0 and has a cable tranny on it.

I'd buy it and sell the tranny to someone else for $200.
So you've got yourself a free B series motor.

if he is willing to sell it for $200, then you have a really good friend and you should buy it.

he has an odb1 conversion. The motor runs strong but I would like to rebuild it just to be on the safe side plus while i have it apart that leaves time to throw in goodies. I already have a turbo that needs a home.

What would the cable to hydro kit entail or would it just be easier to find a new tranny?

I cant stand how non existant the power is in my motor. I will just figure out all the things i need to make this work like mounts and axles and what not, get some new gaskets in it and throw it in. Should i take his ecu as well? i recall him having all the chip burner and uberdata accesories. He never got it running right with the turbo he told me it was something with a bad chip.

I'm sure if i pull some strings i can get all of that stuff as well

Also i have not decided if i want to build it for the turbo first or wait until after i know if everything will be a-ok in my car, which would be the smart thing to do.
