Installing Drivers side axle
Hey guys, i have a helms manual and all but i have a question about installing the drivers side axle.
Some people have told me you have to pop the ball joint to put the axle in, and some people have told me you dont have to do that.
The Helms manual says that you have too pop it as well.
so which is it, can it be done without popping the ball joint?
thanks guys

that has nothing to do with anything here. how could that possibly affect alignment? if anything, the knuckle would be more in place while the joint is still in

popping the ball joint just helps you to have the rotor and hub assembly move freely so that you can easily guide the axle splines into place on the hub. i've always popped mines but some people do w/o.
