Default Tein ss from eg to ek?

Pretty much what the title says, I have an opportunity to purchase a set of tein ss coilovers cheap, but the seller bought them for a 95 eg and I own a 98 ek. The spring rates are different, 380 and 170 for the eg and 450 and 220 for the ek, but other than that they look like they should work. Will they? And what difference will the spring rate difference make?

If you can't already tell, I don't know too much about suspensions yet, but I'm looking to learn.

Sorry to be annoying, but if anyone could please tell me whether this is worth my time and money it would be greatly appreciated.

are u talkin about struts to if so i just went through this............ u will need some spacers or washers because the ek has a smaller lca then the eg so were the strut and lca meets there will be gaps so u will neet the spacers or washers there........ if u talkin about springs they will be fine..... want be as stiff i dont think but will work.............

I'm talking about the whole tein ss coilover system for the eg. My friend is willing to sell it to me pretty cheap but I have an ek and I don't know if the coilover system will work. So there will be some spacing issues (thanks EjOne), I'll get the washers needed, but how is the ride and will I have any bottoming out issues with the shock travel or with the car itself? I'm planning on lowering it 1.5, maybe 1.75 inches so I think it'll be ok, but I don't know enough about ride height vs spring rate vs suspension travel to say for sure I won't blow the shocks and essentially throw my money out the window.
