Default EK to EG

my friend is selling me a set of brand new Tein SS coilovers for my EG. he was originally going to put them on his EK. I just wanted to know if they would fit. I've put springs in an EG that were for an EK but not coilovers

All you'll need to do is trim the rear LCAs on your EG because they are too fat for the lower rear forks on the EK struts.

Also you'll need to find a way to secure your front brake lines because the EK struts don't have the mounts like the EG ones do.

I know all of this because my Koni Yellows were purchased brand new for thr 1996-2000 Civic and they are on my 1992 Civic.

They work just fine and the mods are very minimal.l

Get some sort of grinder and grind off the metal "sleeves" on the EG LCAs and I'm guessing it might be 1/2 an inch on each side at MOST.

I'm not the best at guessing measurements though, sorry.
