civic eg coilovers on a ek
have a set of full body coilovers from a EG civic and I wanted to swap them over to my Ek hatch,I have heard the fronts fit no problem but what about the rears? I assume I can use the EG lcas on the EK if I have to but I just wanna double check,did a search and didnt really find and solid answers

The rear lower control arms are wider on an eg than they are on an ek. The difference is where the shock bolts to it. If you try to match the two up, you'll see the problem instantly. I'm not sure if you can use eg lca's though. I've never tried that. I'd guess that if the length is the same and the width of the bushings where they bolt to other components is the same it should work.

ek lca's are longer than eg's lca, i used a eg strut with a ek lca and put washers in between to make up the difference

I done a swap from ek - eg 100mm coilovers the Ek is a 98 Coupe and the EG is a 95 Hatch ! so should be alright due 2 years
