which is a stronger motor? stock lsvtec (stock ls bottom with b16/type r head) or a stock gsr?

gsr probably can squat 550 though

 

ls block, that ive been told, are the strongest out of the b-series. so i'd go with the ls vtec

 

im not claim to be a expert of any kind, but from what i know go with the lsv. close to gsr hp, but gobs more tq. some one correct me if im wrong.

I'm not disagreeing...but I'm wondering why it would have "gobs more tq" - explain?

lets take a stock type r 11:1 compression.

will there be a power increase by slapping on a stock ls block with 11:1 pistons? that way it would be ALMOST the same other than ls crank and rods

k series, haha jk they are both good motors just depends what you have invested in each one
