d16z6 to d15b vtec swap??
ok ive got a 93 del sol si with the original z6 it threw a rod through the block so im buying the jdm d15b vtec. just wanting to make sure that all the sensors hook up all the same and all taht good ****. thanks in advance.

I just did the same swap on my 95. JDM cars do not have a charcoal evap recovery cannister but the USDM models do. There is a vacuum actuates solenoid that is mounted on the rear of the intake manifold on your USDM model that you will need to find a place for and tap another vac line for. The other option would be to re-use your USDM manifold. Otherwise I had no other trouble using the JDM sensors with my USDM ECU.
Be sure to check for broken sensors on you new motor before you go to install it. Also, check the crank pulley to make sure it matches your accessories. chances are you will have to re-use your crank pulley too. My A/C compressor was different than the one that came with my new motor, so I had to use my old crank pulley.

cool man thanks. the engine im getting comes with all accessories on it. ac, ps, and alternator are already on there.
ill just have to figure out that charcoal canister ****

wow, that's only 17whp less (and about the same tq) than my previous b16a setup tuned on crome had with I/H/E/IM/TB. Glad I'm running a z6 now...planning on boosting it
