Default quick question...please help

im running a 00 GSR in a 96 civic, some ******** broke into my car and took my radio and my ECU, my buddy has a 97 GSR ECU P72, that he said hes give me, till i save up for a chipped 28 again, would that be no problem to use? i want no check engine lights, nothing?.. please help cuz i need to pass insoection also

shouldnt be a problem, im not sure if the gsr has a crank flux sensor, or the purge solenoid, but if you dont use the purge sensor, you should be fine, leavingthe line hooked up without a sircuit to complete it will cause a surging idle, becuase it will suck air from the gas tank, since the valve doesnt close anymore, butit shouldbe fine.

x2 gsr motor + gsr ecu = normal
