Can't get my car to start
I just put a jdm d15b7 into my 94 civic dx, it is the same type engine I took out. when I try to start the engine, it will turn over but not start. the engine is getting gas and the spark plugs are firring. any one have any ideas of what I need to do to get the engine to start?
Check the firing order of the spark plug wires.
Then check cam timing,
Then compression.
That is if you are SURE your getting fuel and spark.

Everything is plugged in. the engine was supposed to be compression checked before I bought it. the spark plugs are in the right order. gas is coming out of the injectors.
I'm assuming the timing was right, when the engine was shipped to me. I guess I need to check to make sure the compression and timing are correct.
