right now i have a 99 jdm itr engine in my 99 Si. I'm about to get a 1999 cx hatch and am wondering if my itr engine with the si wire harness will connect to the cx chassis harness and everything work properly. my biggest concern is if the cx chassis harness is pre wired for vtec or if i'm going to have to run a wire for vtec? any help will be greatly appreciated! thx.

you're taking over the harness. it'll work. make sure you take complete harness though.

 

thx for the help. i thought it should be plug and play, just didn't know if a vtec wire was run on the chassis harness from the factory. i'll post some pics when it's done
