Default simple question: your preference, superchager vs turbo?

a recent magazine article compared turbo's and superchargers but they did a
weak job, and basically said it depends on preference, so i thought i'd see
what is YOUR preference on the two (performance, price, etc)??

a properly sized turbo will have just as much power down low and way more up top..

turbo is the only way to go
1.) it uses wasted heat to make power
2.) does not create parasitic drag
3.) is super efficient with a good intercooler
4.) lag is not a bad thing, in fact I think that's what releases adrenaline in your brain..wait for it...wait for it...whoooshh

On a more serious note, comparing turbocharging to supercharging a Honda isn't really fair to superchargers. There are basically two SC kits out there for a B-series, the JR kit and the Vortech kit, while there's hundreds of options for turbos. Who's to say that a big, efficient, high-boost SC like a Whipple W140AX (30 PSI, 98% VE, 80% AE, 1274 CFM) on a B-series wouldn't kick a whole lot of ***?

I wouldn't want a 500whp civic! Theres such thing as to much power for street/daily cars.

This setup actually had some serious problems, it's all apart now getting some new pistons, should be back together in a few weeks. I'm looking to make 325-350 WHP out of it. It'll be 85.5mm though
