Alignment cost when slammed?
so i just put new 16" slips and new tires on my 97 GSR ... i have completley stock suspension ... i'm bringing the car in to get a 4 wheel alignment tomorrow, which the guy said would run me 80 bucks ... i figured thats not too bad considering its a small shop and not a chain ... I usually get all my tire work done there anyways ... however, he asked me if it was lowered etc. or stock ... i told him stock, but in the near future (this fall) i'm hoping to get new suspension (kyb agx w/ h&r race springs ... aprx 2" drop) ... he said with lowered suspension it takes much longer to do an alignment because its harder to get his hands in etc. ... and his time being worth 75 bucks an hour or so that sounds like it could be expensive ... so i'm just wondering, how much have you paid for your alignments, how much are you dropped, and where do you get it done? ... just lookin for some imput ... thanks
He's blowing smoke..
It's not that difficult. It's the same if they have the right tools/machine to do it. I would get adjustable camber (like adjustable front a-arms and rear support arm) so you can correct your camber when getting the alignment.

alright guys thanks for the imput ... i guess i'm gonna have to look at different places once i get new suspension ... unfortunatley it sounds like most of the places in SoCal are more used to dealing with lowered cars ... not that big in upsate NY
... anyways, thanks for the help
