ZC is the same thing as the USDM D16Z6. But i think it has a little higher compression.

P28 is fine. I believe P08 runs 1 wire o2 sensor. which isnt the greatest.

uh ZCs are d16a6 motors at heart...non-vtec....i think you have a ZC block mini-me'd with a Z6 head and a Z6 ECU (P28)

You have the JDM SOHC Vtec ZC block Witch is the same thing as a USDM D16 Vtec block they are interchangable same power 120-130 hp.

It may just have the D15b head for whatever reason, the cams are more aggressive I do believe (if the ZC SOHC is identical to the Z6, I'm pretty sure the JDM B has more aggressive cams) - the guy coulda bent a valve or something and needed a replacement.

I'm not sure what the difference on the heads would be. I know its has slightly different compression but just by looking at it i dont know.

but from what I hear is that the SOHC ZC has plenty of interchangeable parts of the D16Z6 so maintenance might be easier and has similiar power. I personally havent driven a SOHC ZC but I had a 93 civic HB CX with a JDM D15B and for SOHC it was pretty impressive. Much faster than my original 70 HP CX motor LOL.
